Grant Winners and Finalists of The Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation
for Documentary Photography & Film

The Manuel Rivera-Ortiz Foundation for Documentary Photography & Film, in collaboration with Julia de Bierre and Galerie Huit, presents for the first time ever in Arles a multi-media and print installation of grant winners past and present. Mads Nissen (2011 grant winner) in "No Shelter from Fear" explores displaced populations of Colombia. Gustavo Jononovich (2012 grant winner) in "Richland" documents over-exploitation of natural resources in Latin America. Manuel Rivera-Ortiz (President & Founder) "A Celebration of Life" presents images selected from his museum collections. This year's shortlisted portfolios will also be on view via various digital screens within the gallery.
